I'm sure some of you know how sometimes you just have to do something for you , well then you will understand what i'm saying when I say this one is for me , nothing will be dictating the direction of this cd . No personal openions, no radio stations , saying that do sound like the stuff we play on this station,, No Djs saying, You need to do a song that that sound like Willie Clayton , or Sir Charles Jones or Bigg Rob, not saying that there is anything wrong with these guys , because each one of those guys , made their marks in the music business, and that is a big accomplishment. but I'm El' Willie ,,  and I have been in this business long enough to know that if you don't have your own idenity you are lost and will remain lost until you find one.  I want to make my songs sound like El' Willie  and what El' Willie feel, what El' Willie think , and most of all , what El' Willie like. because if you can't be true and stay true yourself, you got a big problem, because at the end of  the day , that's all you left with anyway, just you and GOD..

So this one is for me . and all of those that like my style, and what I do.  My cousin told me something that I will always remember..he said " there will be one million people that will not like you ,and will not like what you do, and they will not think the way that you think,, but on the other hand , there will be one million people that will like you , and will like what you do ,and will think like you think. 

..So keep doing what you do , and stay true to yourself , and eventually you will connect with those people ,, even if you have to do it, one person at a time... but it can only happen when you stay true to yourself.. " 

 

So this cd is for me and those that think like I do , and like my music,, and for those who are not yet on board..I've got plenty room and you'll are very welcome to come aboard , you don't need no ticket , you just get on board...
