My name is El' Willie Bango, born in Jackson Ms. raised in West Palm Beach Fla. A self taught musician, sax, and keyboard player. song writer, arranger, producer, recording engineer, singer, and vocal coach.

Started playing sax at the age of 19, played  with the Original Drifters , three years, sang with The first tenor a group The

Flamingos about a year and a half. after that , played sax for The Cornelius Bros. and Sister Rose .one gig, and the band got fired after the first gig ,  So I started a jazz band played that scene for about two years, and fortunately for me , I was called by Eddie Cornelius and asked if i wanted to sing background for the group , and took a little time to think about it , so after about  2 seconds i said yes, because at that time The Cornelius Bros and Sister Rose was one of my favorite groups , I ended up being the band band leader, the choreographer, and background all at the same time, and enjoyed every bit of it. after about four years I took a leave of absence , because at that time one of my girlfriends got pregnant and i wanted to be there so my son would at lease know who his father was, and also raise him to a point where he understood what discipline was . So I was out until he turned about seven years old and I gave Eddie a call and asked him .is my spot  still open ?, and he said yes . all of then, so i returned to the group and was there until 1989..I was with the group for a total of 13 years.. in

In 1989 I started my one man band show , I learned how to sequence ,  i played sax and keyboards and sang along with the sequencer playing,, it ended up being pretty good.

In 1993 I wanted to see how good I really was and could i really hang and was my show really good enough to really get paid because at that time there  was no such thing as a one man band not playing in clubs. so i found out that it turned out to be quite a surprise because i was putting a lots of bands on the side line, not because i was cheep but because i was good, and my prices was $150 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours and business was booming for me in Atlanta..

in 1996 I ran into a guy by the name of Charles Mitchell he was Lucky Petersons manager. and he said he needed some material for a an artist that he had by the name of Theodis Ealey so i did a couple of songs for him and he liked the songs so much he said man i like the songs but i think that you should really do those songs yourself ,,so we stayed in touch . Theodis called me later and said he had an artist by the name of Willie Hill and he needed a song for so i wrote Leaving Won't Be Easy,,and Ain't Gonna Be Your Fool No More.

In 2003 Theodis again called and said he had this idea for a song and he had been trying to get somebody to write a song for the idea

that he had in mind but had no success , So I asked him what was the idea , so he said this old lady told him you men think you know what women want but you don't, she you can lick it, you can stick it, but you ain't did nothing until you stand up in it,, So i took the idea and said i will see what i can do i was learning his show at the time and i start learning a song called I'm The Man You Need, it had a nice little groove to it so i said to myself " let me try some thing so i took the change out and just held that groove and just played it one time and sang along with as i was recording sang it one time and that was it..Stand Up In It was born and the rest was history , I also wrote All My Baby Left Me Was A Note My Guitar And A Cookie Jar .for Theodis  , around the same time I wrote Man On A Mission for Willie Hill,,also put some lyrics to a track Bruce Billips  had for his artist Labrada called Come Back Home.

That's my story and i'm sticking with it you Figga Dill Me  ...
